The
Federal Government has announced major reforms to
the First Home Owner Grants Scheme.
For
all contracts exchanged between 14th October 2008 & 30th
June 2009, the First Home Owner Grant will be doubled to
$14,000.
Additionally, First Home Buyers purchasing a newly
constructed property will be eligible for a $21,000 grant.
With
interest rates coming down, and up to $21,000 from the
Federal Government, there may never be a better time to buy
your first home.
